WatchWatched Bridges of NYC today. It was a follow up attempt from last night’s unsuccessful drunken Hulu search. Othmar Hermann Ammann, the designer/engineer of half the bridges in NYC, was the most interesting part. Designing bridges that serve as icons for the city, immediately recognizable, that also serve the function of connecting the boroughs and uniting the city is pretty bad ass.
