Michael Southard, a North Carolina native, is an architectural designer by profession. He has worked in a variety of typologies, including cultural, education, aviation, office, multi-family mixed-use, parks, and urban design. Firms include Gensler, Alliiance, River Architects, JDavis, and Cannon Architects.

When not architecting, Michael enjoys writing, generating art, building small objects, and teaching.
